My phone has been exposed to water and has not been submerged.So I put in rice and now there are lines on my phone from top to bottom. It appears 10 seconds after I unlock my IPhone 5c. And when you wait for 45-60 seconds it turns purple. Please tell me my phone will be okay as I am scared and I cannot live without my phone. Please reply ASAP. Thank you
Do not turn it on again. Make an appointment with the Genius bar. Your phone requires specialist attention and they can tell you how much damage there is. Wish I could be more reassuring but I (and nobody else here) knows the extent of damage.
Your phone will most likely NOT BE OK. Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support. Be sure to back up your device before taking or sending it to Apple.
