My husband received an email from secure@appleaccountservices.co.uk asking him to confirm his iCloud account details - is thiks genuine please?

This is what the email said and the link didn't work:


This is the last email to inform you as of 02 -
August - 2015 that you have not yet reviewed your iCloud ID information. Under
"Know your Customer" legislation Apple is required by law to carry
out a one time a validation of your Apple ID, failure to complete this
validation will result in deletion of your iCloud within the next two working
business days.

Validate your Apple Profile

To prevent the deletion of your iCloud ID proceed to continue to your Apple ID
profile page before the deadline.

It's a scam, attempting to fool you into entering your account and possibly credit card details. Never follow up this sort of message and most certainly never ever enter your details in response to an email. Apple never send out this sort of message (and genuine messages always address you by name and will come from the apple.com domain). There is no such thing as 'Know Your Customer' legislation.
