Receiving SMS texts

Hi! My friend is having trouble recieving text messages on her iPhone 5C. We are in a group chat with some other people and for some reason she's not getting any of the text messages that are being sent to us. Her messages however are working perfectly fine. Any solutions?

iPhone 5c, iOS 8.4

Ask her / him to check Settings > Messages > MMS Messaging. It should be on (green). Group messaging should be on too.
