7th gen, black screen, no sound, no apple logo, appears broken but registers in itunes.Tried 2x restores, still broke

Last used it when jogging and sound was going funny in earplugs, thought they were broken when sound stopped completely.

Realised not earplugs but ipod just a black screen that won't turn on. No apple logo.

When I plug into itunes it registers there but has no activity or life from the actual ipod.

Have tried to restore twice but no change.

Have tried to reset the screen (it was plugged into computer) no change on ipod, but itunes opened & that is when I tried the second restore.
