wrong icloud account on iphone

Hi,

I have an iphone 6 with ios 8.4. When I initially purchased the phone and activated it with my cell phone provider, the wrong email was used as the apple id. I have no idea whose email that is, but now my device will not let me delete the account without first putting in the password to an account that belongs to someone else and I do not know the password to. Is there a way I can change the account to my own without a password?
