My 5s shows all my purchased music even though i did not sync all of it onto the phone.

Since the 8.4 update the music on my 5s has been messed up. The list shows all music that I purchased on iTunes even though I have not put all of it on my phone. I switched off "Show iTunes Purchases" but that has not changed anything. That list even shows up on my car when I sync the phone to that system. Short of deleting all the music and reloading it I have gone through all imaginable fixes. I have read solutions of varying ideas on many different threads and boards. It is a little perplexing.

Any suggestions anyone?
