Verify my identity on iCloud every singel time

This bothers me a bit, is apple charging me for this? I mean I get this code to my phone sent every singel time.

• I put my windows pc in sleep mode, on wake up I have to verify my identity.
• If I shut down chrome browser, I have to verify my identity.
• And of course at restart, I also have to verify my identity.

I have set chrome browser to clear all cookies at close.
