Windows 10, Outlook 2013 syncing with iCloud

Since I downloaded Windows10 on my PC, Outlook 2013 no longer syncs with iCloud. The Refresh button in Outlook has gone and when I tick the iPad Calendar box in Outlook an error message states that it can not acceess the information store. I have redownloaded iCould for Windows but that does not help. Any ideas?

  1. File-> Account Settings-> Account Settings…-> Data Files tab
  2. Select the iCloud data file and press Remove.
  3. If you also connected to the iCloud account via IMAP, remove this account.
  4. Close Outlook.
  5. Open the iCloud Control Panel via the Start Menu and uncheck all the options: Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and Task with Outlook.
  6. Download and install the latest version of iCloud from the Apple website.

When you have the latest version downloaded click it and choose the Repair option.

  7. Reboot when being prompted to do so by the iCloud installer.
  8. Open the iCloud Control Panel via the Start Menu and select the option: Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and Task with Outlook.

If this is a new installation of iCloud, iCloud may prompt you to run a repair on the iCloud installation again and reboot. Outlook integration will be available then as long as your are not using Outlook 2016 Preview.

  9. Start Outlook and let iCloud resync your data.

I did this just as you said and it did not work. Mail and contacts are syncing but the calendar is not. Any ideas?

Hi,

I did as mentioned, but got an other error. After reinstallation of iCloud the Outlook migration of my calender and contacts started. But on step 4 / 7 iCloud started an endless loop, multiplyed some, not all, of my contacts on Icloud and ends up with an error massage: Unknown error.

I reinstalled all of the Apple Progs like Bonjure and iTunes as well. Still same error on step 4/7

Any Ideas on that?

This solved the problem for me again on two computers. It came from the website answers.microsoft.com

Reset the navigation pane.

  • Ensure Outlook is closed,
  • Hold Windows key + R.
  • Copy and paste, or type the following command in the Open box, and then press Enter:

Outlook.exe /resetnavpane

Note: There is a space between Outlook.exe and /resetnavpane.

Somebody please help me !!!

Since I have downloaded Windows 10 I am unable to sync my iCloud with Outlook. I followed the steps suggested by you that is unistalled iCloud from my outlook and reloaded iCloud and re-synced iCloud with Outlook. Now email account has synced with Outlook but calender and contacts have not synced. How do I proceed and get calender and contacts to sync with Outlook.
