IOS 8.4 iTunes requirement?

I'm trying to find what version of iTunes that IOS 8.4 requires for syncing. I'm on iTunes 12.1.2.27 and would rather not update at this time as my music library is in a transitional state for the time being. I don't want to update to 8.4 from 8.1.3 only to find I must update iTunes.

I can't seem to find these requirements on Apple's web sites. Anyone have and can share this info?
