Song entry will not delete from iTunes

MacBook Air 11 inch Early 2014

OSX Yosemite 10.10.4

iTunes 12.2.1

I downloaded from Apple Music, realized it was a duplicate, and attempted to delete it.

The normal pop-up windows did not come up, and the entry for the song in iTunes did not

delete. I removed the file via Finder, but the entry in iTunes still will not delete.

Does anyone have a suggestion?
