Does it matter if i am not the original purchaser of my iPhone?

I purchased an iPhone 6 Plus off eBay several months ago, and recently shattered the screen. I want to bring it to the genius bar to repair it (as it appears to be the cheapest option out there). Does it matter that I am not the original purchaser of this iPhone? I still have the receipt of purchase.
