i just been given a $ dollar itunes card and cannot redeem it in my UK Store, i also cannot access the US Store as it asks for a USA address and credit card, please advise ?

All iTunes gift cards are country-specific - to be able to redeem, and use, a US gift card you will need to be in the US (you have to be in a country to use its store) with a US billing address on your account. Do you know anyone in the US that you could sell or give the card to ?

You could try selling it online e.g. eBay
