3rd party software block

HI Guys,

I've 3rd party software trying to access my Mac Mini across my Home Network (Wireless). The application is included in the 'Allow incoming connections' on the Firewall but the application responds 'Not Found'.

If I 'Turn Off' the Firewall the application immediately finds the Mac.

If I now 'Turn On' the Firewall the application is able to find the Mac even if I restart the application after the Firewall has been turned on..

I've run Port Scan across the Mac under both conditions (Not Found and Found) but in both cases the system reports 32400, 32401 and 32469 'Open'.

Any ideas what is causing this initial blockage and I'd really like to stop turn the Firewall Off and On just to use this application.

Thanks,

David

What's wrong with just leaving it off? What problem does it solve for you?
