email from my contacts going to junk mail not marked junk

On my macbook air, recently some emails from some of the addresses in my contact list are going to junk mail - these are not marked junk. I moved them to the right mailbox and most of them stopped going to junk after that, but no matter what I do, messages from my husband's address are still going to junk. I've tried moving them, I've tried adding a rule that says any mail from that address goes to the address of my mailbox, but his messages continue to go to junk. We have a wonderful long-term relationship, I can't imagine why the cloud or Apple mail is trying to come between us!
