I have tried to hook up my new iMac to the Epson Aculaser CX17NF and it just doesn't work. Does that mean I can't use my printer now that I have a great new Mac? Please help.

It won't let me open it. It says that it can't be opened because it is from an unknown developer. Why is that? It's the problem with the Mac App Store for some reason. Any suggestions on how to bypass that?
Go to System Preferences and the security preferences then from there you can change the setting that is preventing you from installing software from
third party developers.
