Macbook Pro retina turns off if I stop moving the mouse

I have a very new (bought Feb 2015) MBP 13.3 Retina with the SSD (Intel core_i5 2.6GHz, 8GB RAM, 128GB Memory, Mac OS X).

It turns off after 10-15 secs or so, UNLESS I keep the mouse moving. As soon as I stop moving the mouse, it turns off within 2-3.

I have tried a PRAM reset and an SMC reset (though I cannot tell if the SMC reset worked).

Any ideas before I go to the Genius
