What's going on here?
I still haven't seen the answer to the original question as it applies to Safari 10.0.
hellpful, thank u
slide it to the left to expose the remove button
Hi this is how to delete items from your reading list if you have recently updated safari
Have your thumb on the bottom left of the track pad and your pinky on the top right. Then click the track pad so that it makes one click. An options bar should pop up!! I hope this helps. I have no idea as to why apple removed the grey x pop up.
Frickity Frack out-
I have OS X V10.11.6 on my Mac21 desktop and Safari V10.0. Ever since I uploaded V10.0 of Safari I have not been able to remove items from my reading list. I see you talk about an X in the top right corner of item in the sidebar. True that used to be there but is no long.
no grey x in v 10.0
What answer did you read????? I have never seen an answer to the question as yet. I can see no use what ever of this community.
Doesn't the method I illustrated two post above work for you?
Let me summarize. There appears to be one issue, and two OS's and versions of Safari.
I am on a Mac mini, OS v10.10. I cannot swipe as was suggested. Also in Safari v10.0, there is no grey X or remove button. So none of the solutions posed so far are useful.
