Small Black graphic in the top left corner of macbook blinking?

There is a small black graphic going in and out in the top left corner of my macbook, right above where it says finder, safari, or whatever you're on. Ive tried the SMC reset and that didn't help. It doesn't stay there it goes out and in. When i click on safari then it goes away. I tried to take a screenshot of it, but it went away when i brung my cursor over. I took a picture of it with my iPhone. It doesnt stay there 24-7, it happens once a day if even that. When i click on it it goes away.
