My iphone showed the connect to power screen several times. I changed the USB cable, power adaptor and made sure it was free of debris. After a while the screen turned black and my phone won't start. I also tried to restart my iphone but nothing works. What can I do?

I tried that already but still it does not work.
I'm trying to figure out why it showed the connect to power screen, while connected, and now it is just the black screen and it won't start.

Sounds like next port of call is an Apple genius Bar ,if above link contents didn't work
