I posted a question (i believe properly to the community) late Friday night. It has received 37 views and no replies. I have a couple questions regarding this. How can i find out if i posted it properly cause i do not see a field for replies? Secondly if i received no answer to date isn't likely i wont recieve an answer at all? Thirdly is it appropriate or within terms to bump the question? Thanks!

It usually means no one who saw your topic had an answer, so didn't post. If a topic isn't clear, there's almost always someone who will ask for you to clarify, or say something like, "Do you mean xxx?"

Concerning the field for replys. The reply button only shows up if you are logged in. If you checked on your question more then 30 minutes after you posted it and didn't log in it will appear you can't reply to ypur question.
I gave your other question a bump. Hopefully now you'll get an answer.

You're welcome. When you post the solution you found you can tap the green "This solved my question button." That usually closes the discussion.
will do, i just hope i can put to paper what the latest apple advisor explained to me, its quite detailed, i would hate to mislead the community!
You can put something like "Solved. An Apple advisor help me find a solution It's rather complicate so I'll skip the details." If didn't already bump you the question it would have disappeared to the back pages. This way hopefully people won't waste their's and your time answering a solved question.

I have mixed feelings about "bumping" well crafted but unanswerable questions... If only one reply, then Community Specialists ignore it (supposed to tackle UN-replied threads after 24 hours?). No comment on their approach to that - but at least they earn their keep. If this policy was not in play, I would endorse judicious use of the thread-bump tactic.
