Is there a known bug in the way the "back" button works?

I am using iBooks Author 2.3 to create my iBook and I am running iBooks 4.3 and iOS 8.4 on my iPad.

Is there a known bug with the grey "Back to page ..." and "Go to page ..." buttons ?

For example, when I follow a link in my iBook back from Page 24 to Page 18, a "Back to page 24" grey button appears at the bottom left corner of the screen. It does not work because it is trying to "GO BACK" to a higher numbered page. Shouldn't a "Go to page 24" grey button appear on the bottom right corner of the screen instead?
