email went down keeps asking for password
power surge,everything ok except email keeps looking for password, won't accept password just keeps saying not accepted
iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013)
Restart in Safe Mode, this will clear some caches. It is possible one or more was corrupted in the power surge. Also get yourself a good quality UPS to protect your equipment.
To restart in Safe Mode, hold down the Shift Key on a restart until the computer restarts. Then restart the computer normally and retest.
