I'd be grateful if you could tell me why my keys are sluggish on my MacBook Pro. The spinning wheel,coloured disk keeps turning. Then letters I've typed seem to jump onto the screen.
I'm new to MAC having been a Windows user all of my life.
Help with this problem would be much appreciated.

Run this and post the results here so we know more about your configuration.
Also, open Activity Monitor and place it on the side but viewable and when you get the spinning beach ball note what is using CPU.
