Is there a way to turn off find my phone when the phone won't turn on? It fell into the water yesterday and short circuited.

Go to iCloud.com or search for the phone from another iOS or OS X device appand then tap erase. I'm not sure if it will work since it's short-circuited but it's worth a shot.

You can try going to iCloud.com and issuing the Erase command to the device. Once it is erased you can Remove the device from the Find My iPhone app.

Is there a particular reason you want to turn off Find My iPhone on a fried device?
