Q: changing email address on apple id account

My daughter deleted the email account associated with her Apple ID. Consequently she can not log into her Apple ID because she can't recover her password -- password recovery email is being sent to deleted email account. How can she access her Apple ID account to update it with her newly created email address? Or does she need to create a new Apple ID account?

Do not create a new account, since everything she has done is locked to the Apple ID used in the past, and they cannot be merged with new IDs. Use this to see about contacting Apple to fix the account. Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security - Apple Support
