Q: family sharing on apple tv

Does family sharing work on the Apple TV? I'm trying to share my wife's and my music videos that we use when we work out. this is streaming directly on the Apple TV. I have family sharing setup, but my wife's music videos do not show up with mine.

Family sharing requires firmware 7.0, which is not supported on the 2nd gen Apple TV.

Are you aware that you can enter multiple Apple ID's into the iTunes Store settings on an Apple TV.

No, I did not know that, or I had forgotten. that's good to know, but it still doesn't accomplish what I want to be able to do. I want to be able to shuffle all our videos, without having to switch accounts. thank you

I'm not clear myself how getting an Apple TV 3 will allow me to shuffle content from two accounts at once.
