can't login

One day when turning on the Mac, I got a message on the desktop that say need password to login from iCloud, it did it a few times.

The more I got this the more I got worried. I tried logging and can't it seems that the account was reset. I went to do a reset password and got nothing.

I was getting worried and here it was sent to my old email account, that I never use. Not sure why, but I got in somehow and redid the password and questions.

My question is, was a reset account going around at Apple or what? I am not sure if someone was trying to be funny. Trying to get someone since this is their iCould app, not mine. And since that happened here I went to the iCould account and close it, I hate this thing. Again, was there a problem or reset account at Apple?
