I miss the RESET in Safari menu

I miss the RESET in Safari menu

Where is the option to RESET from the Safari menu? I just upgraded to Yosemite, but all I see is the two-step action to first close the window and THEN having to hit the "Clear history...." etc etc. Why did the Reset option go away? Was there any particular reason?

The reason is that's what Apple decided to do.

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.
