iphone music backup question...

Can i backup music from my phone using iTunes or do i need to use a 3rd party app? Also, does that include all music, including music from apple music?

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 8.4

everything is backup'd when you backup to itunes, music, messages, settings and photographic images of cats
