Windows 10 fresh install - No Audio Device installed

Hey guys. Just got Windows 10. Seems fresh. After navigating through the maze of questions regarding how much of your data you'll let Microsoft sell, you actually get to a pretty neat OS. I'd recommend it.

However, I have run into a pretty crippling issue. Audio doesn't seem to work. Speaker icon in the bottom right shows that no audio device is installed. Obviously this is a driver issue; speakers works fine on OSX. I have the Windows Driver support software from the boot camp assistant installed on a USB drive. I've used it to re-install some certain drivers (including the Realtek audio chipset), and used the general repair function, but I've had no luck.

If Apple's current bootcamp drivers aren't updated yet, that'd be perfectly understandable, but I've found no similar issues on the internet regarding Win10's release a few days ago. Any advice from here would be appreciated.

tried to manually installing the realtek driver from bootcamp 5.1 ?

my issue is that it show up fine in devices and in audio settings and it display it's playing but no audio is played

works with bluetooth headset though

you options are giving the bootcamp drivers a go or going to realtek and trying their latests drivers or waiting for official windows 10 bootcamp support

or going back to an earlier version of windows

The best method to ensure correctness is to use BCA and use the 'Download Windows Support Software...' option.

fixed my audio issue by reinstalling the cirrus logic audio driver believed I had a realtek audio chip for some reason it's not always easy to see from osx side

If I manage to navigate to the device manager, everything looks fine except for "High Definition Audio Controller". It has a little caution symbol. Specifically, it is failing to work due to error 10, which is a missing driver or outdated driver error. Very common.

I uninstalled the driver through the properties of said audio controller and rebooted, but it just re-appears with the caution sign again.

Also worth noting: I did sync a Bluetooth speaker and got audio out of it just fine.

double post because i'm going hard.

So Rudegar provided a manual link to download the Bootcamp support stuff directly instead of loading it to a drive through OSX. There's actually a different link for MBP 2012s, but you can find that link through Rudegar's page.

Anyway, if I head to the device manager in windows 10, I will see the error on High Definition Audio Controller like I mentioned earlier. If I uninstall that, and then immediately go into Bootcamp support software and do a repair, that device will re-install itself. Still with the error. This leads me to believe that the Bootcamp driver is simply not working. For whatever reason. My only idea is that I would need to go get a driver manually. Does anybody have further information on where I could go to manually obtain the drivers necessary? I've read different types of drivers would be needed from several places, so I'm not sure which ones will be particularly responsible for the audio.
