outlook 2011 on macbook pro freezes up after opening

When i open Outlook 2011, it freezes after approximately 30 seconds and i have to Force Quit to close it. It just started happening yesterday, not sure what the catalyst was.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)
