I have a macbook and it's running 10.5.8 and it won't let me use Itunes or update Safari or any other browser until the software is updated. When I click on software update it says that it's up to date. Which software CD do I need to buy?

My Mac is OS X and the software is 10.5.8 and I need to update it but i don't know which software CD to buy. My mac says it's up to date, but I can't update my browser or use Itunes, and when I plug my Iphone 4s into it it can't sync with the Mac.

If your Mac supports it, you will have to buy a retail copy of OS X 10.6, Snow Leopard. You can order it here: http://www.apple.com/shop/product/MC573Z/A/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
