iTunes Music Library.xml

I'm currently running iTunes for Windows version 12.2.1.16 on Windows 10. I've just noticed that my iTunes Music Library.xml file is missing. I did go to my last backup prior to updating to Windows 10 and it was missing from there as well (I updated to 12.2.1 prior to updating to Windows 10). The iTunes Library.itl is still there, but without the .xml file, other third party applications seem to not work. Is there a way to have iTunes re-create the .xml file? I did already try uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes for Windows 12.2.1 and that did not re-create the .xml file. Any ideas would be welcomed.

Thanks.

There's a new option in iTunes 12.2 under Edit > Preferences > Advanced:

User uploaded file

You may need to enable this so that the XML file is kept up to date.

You're welcome. It seems that for some users this setting has defaulted to OFF on upgrade, which is both odd and bad design on Apple's part. Ironically I don't have any routine need for the XML version of my library, yet on all 4 systems on which I regularly run iTunes the Share iTunes Library XML option was enabled after upgrading, and I was able to turn it off to reduce the volume of HDD activity while iTunes is running.
