Dec 1, 2015 6:40 PM in response to léonieby jillintoronto,I am having the same problem - my default email reader has always been 'mail' - but I only see 'icloud photo sharing', 'messages', 'notes', 'set desktop picture' as options for sharing from Photo. I tried selecting 'outlook' as default, then selecting 'mail' in preferences to see if I could get the option, but still no good.

This command does the following: It will reset the launch services database, so the installed applications and the services, document types, etc. supported by the applications can be found, i.e. for the Share menu.
Paths are searched for applications to register with the Launch Service database.
Valid domains are "system", "local", "network" and "user". Domains can also be specified using only the first letter. The parameters in the command are the following:
-kill Reset the Launch Services database before doing anything else
-seed If database isn't seeded, scan default locations for applications and libraries to register
