How can I set up Apple Mail on my MacPro
I'm having to give up on Entourage. Too many failures, crashes, hangs, etc.
Someone has suggested Apple Mail, but I'm not able to find it on my computer.
Is there a trick to it?

not really, Jean N. it should be under "Applications" . double click on your hard drive to open it, and go to "Applications" folder. Double click on that to open it, and you should see mail. Double click on that, and go to "Accounts". Here's where you set up Apple mail. Use the settings you got from your Internet Service provider or from Entourage. If you go to Apple's web page, then go to "Support" then OS X, it should have a page that may help you set up Mail
generally.
good luck

The original application is in the Applications folder.
If you wish, you may add an Alias to your Dock by dragging its Icon to a spot among other Applications on your Dock, _OR_
while it is running, control click and under Options pop-up, check "Keep in Dock".
That Mail setup helper Johnb cites is here:
https://www.apple.com/support/mail-settings-lookup/
Apple does not keep any email address you enter there, or use it for any other purposes.
You are also free to enter an email account-name that is almost, but not quite correct -- just be sure the part after the @ is correct and it will look up the best settings for most popular email providers. If you do this don't fool yourself and forget to fix the made-up account_name.
