I can't seem to consistently get the Apple Watch to end a run. The run starts and behaves normally throughout run but then when i attempt to "end" the run the buttons go away and the run continues as it was. Thoughts? Eventually it does work but it's very inconsistent.

Try restarting (or, if that doesn't work, force restarting) your Apple Watch:
Restart: Press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider; Drag the slider to turn off completely; Afterwards, press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
Force restart: press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
So far the Force Restart option appears to have taken care of the issue. Thanks for your time.
