mac pro 8 cores 4.1 > gtx 970

Hi,

I want to mount a nvidia gtx 970 gigabyte on mac pro 8 cores 4.1 (I need at min 4gb vram) is there a problem with my psu ?

Says it uses 145 Watts, should be OK, Radeon HD 7950 in my Mac Pro 5,1 says it uses 300 Watts...
