Q: Not able to purchase my new calendar

I am trying to purchase my annual calendar through Photos. I run 10.10.4. I switched from iPhoto during the year and never had a problem with previous years' orders through iPhoto.

now it says that My Zip code needs updating.

I live in Canada not the US.

we have postal codes.

previous shipments on products have been made to this address.

I have tried manipulating the address in contacts to no avail.

never had a problem before.

Anyone know how I can correct this?

(I have updated Keychain, as per comment in this section. still does not work)

Thanks for any suggestions

Have you set the country to Canada in the Photos Preferences > General:

I should also add that I changed the billing country and then re set it to Canada.

I have also re formatted my contact address.

I have tried again several times and still et the same answer that the ZIP code needs a correction!!!!!!!

Is the region in your System Preferences > Language & Region set to Canada?

The billing address and shipping address need to be in the same country, and the AppleID you are using also needs to be valid in the same country. Have you enabled Express checkout?

Your shipping and billing address need to be entered on the Apple Store page:  Click the "Store" menu item at the top of this page, and then the link to your Apple Store account in the second line (to the left of the shopping cart icon).

    thanks.

the info in there saves the shipping address is the United States, not Canada. I tried the Edit function but can't find where to change to canada.

press cannot be changed until I update the Billing and Shipping address. but this seems to be the problem.

is there somewhere i can change this?

thanks you for the help so far

Check your system Preferences > Language & Region.  That may determine your Apple Store selection.

And look at the country selector at the bottom of the Store page.

    Thank you.

the country code had been arbitrarily changed to the US. Now changed to Canada and the billing and shipping address show correctly. I went back to order the calendar and the drop down is the same I.E change the zip code.

    thanks so far

Try the "get help" link on the page of the Canadian Print Products Store:  http://www.apple.com/ca/shop/help/your_accounG

Perhaps there is a problem specific to the Canadian store.

hopeless. they do not have any help to offer.

typical Apple ,sell numerous products to me and then not be there when I need help.

and don't test their new products sufficiently.

Ill see if there is anywhere else to assist.

Thanks for your help so far.

Did you restart the Mac and Photos after you changed the settings at the store?

Just to be sure - when you changed the address to canada, where you on the page of the Canadian store?  Did the flag at the bottom right corner show the maple leaf? And the URL in the window http://www.apple.com/ca/shop   ?

If not, check again, what happens when you directly connect to the Canadian Store and check your account settings.

This looks like an issue I experienced myself (with iPhoto) a couple of years ago, and knowing that Canada (just like Belgium, where I live) is a country with several different official languages, I wonder whether that might be the case.

As a British expat, I have my OSX set to English. But when I wanted to order a card, and click (in iPhoto that was) the Buy Card button, all information came up in French.

Tried several things, but was unable to work this one out, so I had to seek help from the Apple Store Support. I must say: this help was brilliant! I now know that I have to change the language temporarily (I don't need to reboot)) from English to Dutch (the language spoken in our part of the country - French is for Brussels and lower) and all information comes up in Dutch which is perfectly acceptable.

Now... I know this is a different issue that described here. But I can only suggest that you do contact Support, knowing that these guys want to sell you stuff, so they will be extremely willing to help you out.
