Q: How do I restore my calendars from Time Machine?
My iCal calendars all got erased when I sync'd with iCloud. So did my Contacts.
I have tried restoring from Time Machine backup, using the "Go to folder" ~/Library/Calendars
It shows that it is copying the restored files (I chose "Replace" when asked).
When I open iCal, it is completely blank like it was brand new.
I also do not know from where to restore my "Contacts"
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The first thing you should do is back up the data by following the instructions on the page linked below:
Archive or make copies of your iCloud data - Apple Support
Then open the iCloud preference pane. If you're not already signed in to iCloud, sign in. If you are signed in, check the boxes marked Calendar and Contacts. If the boxes are already checked, uncheck them and then check them again. See what happens.
