In iTunes 12 on the Mac, how do i delete unused iOS apps on my iPhone and iPad that i dont want. I have removed from the iOS devices but they remain on the mac. Just want to de-clutter and have no desire to add back. Thanks for you help.

Go to "My Apps," right click on an App that you wish to delete, and choose "Delete" from the contextual menu.

This works for Mac applications, but not for IOS applications as far as i can see. When I select iPhone or iPad from iTunes on the Mac and then apps nothing happens on left click.
Okay my mistake. I see that when I go to apps i can select the machine. From there I can delete. Thanks for your help.
