Why is there 62 website cookies when i turn on my computer. How do i get rid of these websites and where.

Why is there 62 website cookies when i turn on my computer. How do i get rid of these websites and where.
iMac, iOS 8.4
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab then click: Remove All Website Data
Then select: Ask websites not to track me
I have been doing that for a long time now and when i log off and then log back in the same websites come back (62 to 65 of them) they must be stored somehow because i clear all website data and they still come back every time i log back in
