"Other" is taking 15 GB of my 32 GB iPhone 5S

I have an iPhone 5S 32 GB, today I made a restore of the iPhone because the segment "other" was taking 8 GB of my memory, so I read in the forums and I realize that I had to make a restore of the iPhone to eliminate the "Corrupted Data", the suprise was that I did this restore and now the "other" segment is taking 15.55 GB of my memory

I think everything started when I restored a backup from my iPhone 4S into this iPhone 5S (as I mentioned before, first the "other" segment was only taking 8 GB)

As you can see in the image, now this "yellow" line is almost filling my memory

An "other" larger than about 1 1/2 GB indicates corrupted files.

What is the Other on my iPhone and How to Remove It

What is "Other" and What Can I Do About It?

Next, usually restoring from backup eliminated the corrupted files. However, sometimes restoring to factory settings/new iPod is required.

To restore from backup see:

iOS: How to back up

To restore to factory settings/new iPod see:

iTunes: Restoring iOS software
