Is Apple really going to restrict our access to our own music via HomeSharing?

I cannot believe that Apple has decided to restrict access to our libraries of music via HomeSharing.

I am a longtime Apple guy, but this is making rethink my commitment. Why on earth would Apple choose to do this?

Please don't tell me about all the wonderful features of your Apple Music plan, I want to know why, why, why this was done.
