Aug 4, 2015 2:19 PM in response to lllaassby kananisham,Tried all these things, nothing. I know my friend looked at the System Profiler, but he didn't see anything off.
Also, I made a mistake, System Preferences does see the monitor as a headphones output, but no sound comes out of it.

Aug 4, 2015 5:50 PM in response to kananishamby Grant Bennet-Alder,I don't think most display cards supported audio on the display output until the Mac Pro 4,1 2010 model. You may have to wire up the headphones output separately to get the sound.
