Q: my HP 8500A is no longer visible to my mac?  was fine before I changed software?

So I have tried several things to try and make it visible:

deleted from network and reloaded

deleted from computer and when I tried to reload it doesn't see it

they are on the same wireless network

no clue what to do, any ideas?
