Month old Air on Safari is extremely slow, won't load, won't play youtube videos, and mouse is spinning ball of death. Any suggestions??

As I previously said,
Internet explorer is slow, mail will not load, webpages will not load, and the spinning ball of death is there. Computer a month and a week old and I have no insurance. Help is greatly appreciated.
