Safari cant open the page "yahoo because Safari cant find the server Yahoo. My Google chrome is supporting all kinds of pop ups and i cant fix it

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.4)

once the yahoo address was properly typed in to the homepage my server was up and running then adding Malwarebytes for Mac and cleaning Safari the pop ups all disappeared such an easy solution thanks to Apple for all their help
