Using Logic Pro X to control an Arranger?

Me and a relative are having trouble understanding how to arrange and compose music with Logic Pro X and send the written music through MIDI to a Yamaha arranger keyboard, so the latter can play the music it receives and record it using its instruments - not Logic's instruments.

It explains how to tell your keyboard what instrument to play via Logic Pro X. We've found the Custom Bank Select window; we can't figure out how to use it, neither can we understand the documentation.
