Unable to Force Quit Google Chrome

Hi everyone, I have been trying to get rid of Google Chrome for a while now, but it seems like it is impossible to do so.

I have been searching for a solution to this issue but nobody seems to experience it. Every time I turn on my computer Google Chrome appears on my Dock, but it does not let me open it nor close it. Is there anyone else having this issue? Does someone know how to fix it?

Thank you in advance.

Hello dominic23, thank you for that suggestion, but I have already tried that as well. Like I said, Google Chrome seems to be stuck, as it gives me the option to Force Quit when I right click on its icon on the dock. However, when I do this, nothing happens. I have tried to uninstall the application, though it says I cannot do this until Chrome is closed.
