Logic Pro X as sequencer for MainStage

I've been trying to use Logic Pro X (10.1.1) as a sequencer/player for MainStage (3.1.1), but am unable to make it work. So basically, MainStage would be my external midi device. The data would need to be sent as midi through IAC.

When using another midi player (Qmidi), all works correctly, but when using LPX, I get no sound and MainStage goes crazy with loud sound artifacts.

In LPX everything seems to be setup correctly. All tracks as external midi sending to IAC bus on their respective midi channel.

It seems to me like a bug within either LPX, MS or the IAC driver.

Is anyone else experiencing this? If, then is there any workaround?
